Islet Champion

Champion Islet, lying off the north coast of Floreana, is a small rocky isle that is home to the critically endangered Floreana Mockingbird, and a great place for diving and sighting sea turtles, sea lions, and schools of fish thanks to the nearby coral reef. Due to the sensitivity of the species on this islet, tourist boats are not allowed to land here, so the visit consists of a panga ride to observe the wildlife. Champion Islet is also a much-coveted scuba diving site.
