DIFFERENCES BETWEEN THE ALYA ITINERARIES

Eastern Galapagos route: If you start by going through the islands by going north, you’ll get to see some volcanic formations on Bartolome. We’ll then sail you through Genovesa, a more secluded island with plenty of wildlife off its shores, such as hammerhead sharks and seabird breeding colonies. You can walk around the island and get an up-close view of large nests of birds, letting you see red-footed boobies much more closely.

Western Galapagos route: If you start south, you can sail through San Cristobal, Floreana, Isabela, and Santiago. These islands offer crystal clear waters that are great for snorkeling and seeing lots of marine life. The beaches overlook the sparkling water and provide a great stop along long hikes.
